The 14th EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee was held in Podgorica on 18 December 2017.

Points on the draft agenda included:

•State of play of the accession negotiations and EU-Montenegro relations, in the presence of:
- representatives of the Montenegrin Government,
- the Presidency-in-Office of the Council of the EU,
- the European Commission.

•Functioning of the Parliament and electoral reform ahead of the upcoming elections

•Fundamental rights and freedoms, with focus on media freedom

•Economy and public finances
